Frequently Asked Questions

Some common questions about the process!

I make sure that the communication is very concise and expectations are clearly defined from the start. There are various different ways to approach a job. It really depends on budget,  timeline and personal preference. I will sit down with you to discuss all these things at no cost. Then I will write up and send you a quote, clearly defining what you can expect from the work. It will then be up to you to consider it against any other options you may have. But if you go with me, there will not be any surprises. What we agree on is exactly what you will get.

If something comes to mind and you want to add or change something mid-job, no worries! Depending on the change however the timeline might get pushed and the labour and or materials cost may increase. But we will always first discuss these things and only amend the initial estimate mutually before going ahead. Again, it is Simple…no surprises other than the final joy of your new painted space!

Nope. Not unless you decide to add/change something about the spec. But even then, no payment will go forth until it is mutually agreed!

First of all, the industry is maxed, under-resourced and full of variable discrepancies between dispatch and  teams, contractors and clients and suppliers and contractors. With me, it’s Simple. It’s only me! I focus on intimate client relationships for straightforward residential home improvement tasks. I answer only to myself and you,  and it has to be Simple and enjoyable! And nothing will kick off unless we all feel good about it!

Great question. It’s Simple!

I can scale the estimate according to how much you get involved. For example, if you provide the paint, brushes/rollers, drop cloths and prepping supplies, you only pay me for labour! That will be a major budget decrease. People like to choose this option as it means that you can also keep all the gear for touch ups! And I will even show you how to do this at no extra cost!

Another way to cut costs would be to choose no more than a couple of colors/finishes. The less different types of paint there are, the Simpler the job becomes. But this does not mean the outcome has to be boring 🥱 ! We can still get gorgeous results by choosing awesome colors!

There are various other ways to cut the costs as well! We can go over all of that when we meet, free of charge!

I have done tons of home improvement work in my life. But painting is special! There is nothing like a fresh coat of paint to lift the vibe in any space. And it is truly gratifying for me to be a part of this transformation!
